History:
Lucien’s life was pretty average before he joined the military, he didn’t have much problems during his time in school, he wasn’t great but he wasn’t bad either. Living in a military family was probably more different then a normal childhood but he liked it, the discipline, it caused a good basis for growing up and you always knew what to do, he felt it was a great way to know how things were done.

As would be expected the way he was raised he joined up as soon as possible, although his father probably had the hopes that as his older brother he would become an officer, but at this point Lucien was very tired of school, and even though his father wasn’t happy he, with parental consent, joined the air force at age seventeen and started training.

He did well during basic training, getting high scores during marksmanship training and doing well during physicals. Even though it was hard he liked it feeling like he got a lot of experience, and he had a sense of belonging, he was helping the other airmen what he could and they liked him for it. But all his time there he hoped that his father being an officer in the air force wouldn’t affect anything for him.

When he was done with the basic training he signed up for TACP training, even though he had managed well before it was hard, mostly the physicals though, he had mostly an easy time with the technological stuff quickly learning about the new radios, procedures and etc. During the final stages he was deployed to Afghanistan, although little happened during his time overseas it changed him, he lost a close friend to an IED.

He hadn’t been home long before he was approached by some, what he considered, strange men that asked him to join something called the SG program, even though he didn’t know what it was it sounded exciting and he decided to join up.

Role Play Sample:
He stopped the truck and looked out over the sand dunes for a few moments before looking over at his CO, “So here we are” he stated adjusting himself in the seat trying to sit more comfortable which was difficult when wearing a combat vest, before finally looking out the window again. The CO looking through some papers finally responded after a few moments of silence “We’re setting up an OP over in those buildings” he pointed towards a small set of buildings a bit further ahead. “Area should be clear, marines moved through here and cleared the buildings not long ago”, Lucien nodded “Alright-..” he wasn’t finished with his sentence before gunfire started hitting the car.

“Contact front!” they all yelled before opening their doors and returning fire. Vinigan felt the adrenaline rush through his body, even though they were always prepared for combat it still wasn’t a good feeling when they got the upper hand. “ Luke get king on the line and get them to send reinforcements, we need help here!” Lucien nodded and leant into the car and grabbed the radio

“King Actual, this is knight Oscar, over”
“This is king Actual, go ahead, over”
“We are in contact, 100 meters south-west of yellow 4, requesting reinforcements”
“Roger that, wait out”
Vinigan shrugged as a few more bullets hit the truck, it was obvious that it probably wasn’t more than a couple of people taking pot shots. He looked over at a medic that was attached to them, a girl called Emily, who was currently returning fire “ Well seems you got to try combat heh?” he offered a half-hearted chuckle peeking out of the window before looking back at her she didn’t seem as amused by the idea as he was. He had only known her for a handful of months now but they had become great friends.

“ Knight this is King over
“ This is knight over ”
“ Reinforcements are on their way they are 10 minutes away ”
“ Roger, out ”

He looked over at his CO as he leant out the car again aiming back towards where they received contact “Yo sir, we got friends coming in 10 mike” the CO shrugged “Alright we better hold tight, Luke get the vehicle started so we are ready to leave” he nodded. After the first few minutes the fire slowly stopped, the enemy was probably bugging out and getting away. It seemed that the original fire had hit the engine and disabled the vehicle, which made the help coming even more important for them.

It seemed like an eternity but finally the help came they had parked a bit away “Sir seems they are here”
“ Thank you I see that.. You guys stay here I’ll go talk to them” he moved off to the others, while at the vehicle they were still covering out “So this was fun” he said to the medic who shook her head at him “ You’re nuts, just looking forwards to get back to base”. Vini nodded with a smile “Don’t worry I’ll give a soda or some such when we get back” their CO called over the radio “Alright guys move over here, Emily first then you Luke” they nodded to each other as she moved off and he had just started to move following after their medic then ‘BOOM’…
