Captain Robert "Bobby" Oxford Jr
- From the start I have found it amusing that a Coast Guard member ended up on the expedition (don't ask why, it is just amusing to me), I love seeing more branches of the US Armed forces represented and Bobby does just that. I loved watching the character development that has occurred with him, when everything first started he didn't have a clue as to what to do and now (though he is still new to the program) he has an idea of how things work. Yes he is stubborn at times and probably needs some anger management after punching a certain IOA member, but again the man had it coming. ;) Bobby's sarcastic personality and quick wit are a good change of pace and I always enjoy having my characters around him.
Lieutenant Colonel Steve Hamrick
- So far I have had two characters interact with Steve in game and even though his computer jargon confuses both of them, I still enjoy playing with him. I had a well written reason behind why I want to nominate him, but of course I forgot it. DG does a good job of having a military character who is not only strategically minded but also is a genius when it comes to computers. His relationship with his partner Blake often makes me want to just die from the adorableness of it, seriously...I love the two of them together. The fact that Steve is willing to teach his team members how to better themselves (if you need an example just look at him teaching Izzy some basic self defense) is another good point of how as a character he is a good person.
Doctor Henry Pratt
- Honest to god. Pratt it like a mix of Indiana Jones + a grandfather / cool uncle + wikkipedia + awesomness, all in one. I feel like he is our own version of Dr. Jackson, but he is his own person. Having him on SV-2 has been enjoyable (yes I know it's only been a short time), he has already proven himself to be a very valuable person and even though he is smart as hell he doesn't shove it down your throat or seem boastful about what he knows. He's just another character that I fully don't know why I like him but I just do. Guess that is what happens when a character is original and played well.
