Episode Four: Perfect Picture

Sala watched out from her makeshift lab window as the town closed there doors and windows at the sound of the eye coming to life . Only one thing sprang to her mind as she heard the rushing sound echo from the eye as it opened . She was still surprised how streets echoed the noise, but having her mind wandering was not what she needed to focus on and she had reports to give now that there replacements were here . They were a day late and her replacement was due to arrive with this cycles stock requirements . She grabbed her electronic pad disguised as a normal book which helped her fit in and do her work . She made her way to the street to try to find the arriving commanding officer of new team . She couldn't help but feel excited at the idea of seen her family again and escape this filth .
She had been operator on this planet for to long now and she longed for a civilised and clear company on her own world. Rule one when she started was don't befriended the product as it only causes problems down the road when the time comes and it was one she had enforced . It made her sick having to drop to there level to pretend to be like them, but for now that was the way things worked and if production went as planned she'd be head of an expedition team .
As she made her way down the street, her shoes which were far beyond the local towns level grasp echoed through the street . As she turned the corner she was taking by surprise at the sight of something out of place, A lady and young girl to which she could only guess must of been her daughter or a product to be taking care of . No the girl wasn't a product but she did look like valuable . Sala looked at the lady, there was something different about her that looked out of place and before she could speak it hit her . The ladys eyes and facial features were not of her people at all . As for the girl, she looked shy and easy to take care of . Her heart raced at the idea of what may be another race having access to the eye . She needed to spread the word to the rest of her team, incase there were more and encase they caused trouble . She opened her book and hit a word which sent the signal to her team members . The signal was a code yellow and they needed to keep to orders . All they could do was go with the plague cover they used on the town .
" You need leave, A plague has ravaged are world and you need to leave for your own safety . Please go now ."
Her forehead began to sweat as she stood there hoping they'd just leave and her mind also taught of how much the little girl would give her if she managed to capture her . But that was a risk, to big a risk she didn't want to take and destroy everything .

Fiala stood there as the woman seemed to demand them to leave, as for kana hinding behind her was a crafty plan and one she hoped would pay off . She noticed how the woman was startled to see them, but she must of expected someone for her to approach the gate with smile that vanished at sight and she could only guess they were more expected than her team . But the word plague sent shivers down her spine to which there was only one option and the first main task which was her teams safety .
" Wither from Fiala, possible outbreak take extreme caution and be careful ."
Fiala placed a hand on Kana's shoulder as she spoke ." Are we at risk or could we bee already infected . I don't want to return through the gate with something ."
It was every teams nightmare, blackholes and plagues . Two main reasons you had a good chance of never reach home again . All she could do now was rely on Kana who she was still trying to trust .
