Near the Stargate
Mac shook her head as both the Captain stepped through the gate, and the Admiral went off in the other direction, leaving her currently the highest ranking officer. Dandy. She turned around, her soft brown eyes scanning. Her two teammates had finally appeared. Good. She nodded at them, forgoing the usual salute-salute back nonsense. The older Marine had little time or tolerance for BS, and particularly, BS that interferred with her job. Like saluting. She didn't NEED some stupid signal to let her know that her people respected her. She EARNED it by being a good leader, gently and carefully molding them into great soldiers, wether Army or Marine. And the same went for the Sailors and Airmen under her, as well. No one was lesser because of his chosen service-a tease target, certainly, but not lesser. Everyone had their place. Mac believed this to her core. It was how she'd picked herself up by the bootstraps-LITERALLY-and made her way to OCS.
She made a quick announcement.
Ok, all. Listen up. If you have any problems, please direct them to the Admiral. Pass the buck. He was an admiral; he could handle it.
She turned to the two Lieutenants that stood before her. She eyed them; well, they weren't as turned out as she'd have liked. Still, they would do.
Ok, boys. Cocked, locked, and ready to rock? Let's go. She led the two men through the gate and out into the warm Jungle sun. She squinted before lowering her sunglasses. Much better. She turned around and addressed Telion.
Lt. Telion. This being my first rodeo, I will rely on YOU to be my eyes and ears. YOU, Charter. You will alert me to any and all danger signals with your magic stuff. We will start to my right. I think it's best if we stick together since we're the smallest team. Does that sound good to you? She wiaited.
Hey, also. Let's think of a fun name for our team. Remember OCS? Yeah, like that. And it better not be anything dumb like the Three Musketeers.
She was going to KILL whomever made this billet, that was for sure.

(Ok, boys, this is the assignment: we meet some chick that wants to kill herself. It wil be our job to get her back to the base. Ok? Mac and I believe in you.)
