They were already close to approaching the third base that was camped here just for this final exam. Billie though as she hurdled closer to Shannon who had been treated way back at the first camp the team had rushed too. They had spent more time than required so catching up had to be done. The main thing was the Shannon was safe and warm with her soaked clothes discarded and dry ones had been provided.

The second base had been covered without much of a single incident after all. Expect few slips into the snow when the balance was thrown off as the snow was deep to the knees in some areas. The only thing Billie wished was that the wind would stop it’s howling and soon. OR she was looking towards sleepless nights after the graduation.

“This while exam better be worth the sweat and pain and chilled bones, Collier,” the Midshipman Petty Officer grumbled at her Commanding Officers back and from the distance they both were in, “Or I’ll turn of his hot water altogether.”

The image alone made her laugh and hard, and she hoped the wind didn’t carry the sounds to Adam.
