Meowtian magic and magic ranks

Originally discovered by the Meowtians magic has been the basis for the majority of Meowtian technology.
Mana is a form of radiation produced by living things including planets and stars. By directing the flow of mana both inside and outside the body reactions outside the realm of normal physics can be achieved. This process is simply known as magic.
Not everyone has the potential to direct mana, those who do are predominately from the Meowtian Empire but it is not unheard of for the other nations to have mages with significant potential. Even those from Earth, whilst rare, can achieve if not overpower Meowtian mages.
The Meowtians have created a technology to enhance a mages abilities by the use of mana enhanced nanites as well as refining mana into a more stable and easily used form known as Chima.
Artificially Intelligent Mana-Pyshical Nanite Weapons, or AIMNWs, are a nanite based weapons platform capable of syncing and then enhancing a mages abilities whilst assisting with mathematical calculations for more complex spells. The actual enhancements differ depending on the mages natural dispositions and the operating system of the AIMNW. AIMNWs often have many features designed to protect the user and increase combat effectiveness such as multiple forms, spell storage, auto casting, and a storage and deployment function for armored clothing more commonly known as the barrier jacket.
Magic Rank is a scale used to measure a mages capacity to "achieve the tasks set before them". It should not be taken as indicative of the mage's raw mana output or their ability to defeat lower ranks in combat, although both play a role in attaining a high rank. Each mage is put into one of 11 power grades, designated with letters: F, E, D, C, B, A, AA, AAA, S, SS, SSS (from least powerful to most powerful). Like similar grading systems, the grade may have a plus or minus.
Assuming Himms is ok with it if people want to tell me what colour they think represents their character (which becomes the colour of their magic circle) and a brief overview of how the character sees magic I can give a potential magic rank (the maximum possible rank they could achieve).
