Personality:
Patrick is a compassionate guy. He cares deeply for his family, and would die before he sees them hurt. Pat is a social guy. When he comes across a person he knows, he always stops to have a talk with said person. He was always interested in his friends’ lives. Pat is a great shot. As a young boy, his father would often take him hunting, and this came in handy when he joined the Navy.
Lieutenant Stonebridge is a sore loser. While he will always congratulate people that win from him, he does not do that happily. Additionally, he is a very cocky guy. This resonated from him being a fighter pilot landing planes on ships. You had to be cocky, and confident to do your job properly.
Lastly, Stonebridge is an optimistic guy, and he will always try to see the best in everything. He has zero tolerance for f**k-ups, but knows that they occasionally happen. He never gives up, even if he’s wounded he will go on.

History:
Patrick Dylan Stonebridge was born in 1984. His father was the Earl of Hereford, in addition to being an officer in the British Army. The man had fought in the Falklands just two years prior. His father’s station gave Patrick the courtesy title of Viscount Stonebridge.
The first couple of years he spent on our blue ball are not of much significance: Pat was an ordinary child of average size and weight. He started to trying to walk at about nine months, and a few weeks after his first birthday he said his first words.
At the age of two, a little sister and a little brother were born. As they grew older, his brother would always follow him everywhere, much to the young aristocrat’s chagrin.
Another brother was born only a month after Patrick’s ninth birthday.
At the age of 12, Pat was enrolled in the Duke of York’s Military School, an Academy funded by the government, and it being an executive agency of the Ministry of Defence. It was only open to students whose parents had served at least four years in Her Majesty’s armed forces, which his father had done, and was still doing.
Pupils at this academy had access to advanced sports facilities, and it wasn’t long until Pat joined the school’s rugby team. Eventually, Pat became the head boy, and therefore often dined at the high table. This is where the headmaster, as well as invited guests were invited to.
Eventually he graduated secondary school, and found that he had enough points to enter the Royal Navy immediately. This he did, and he attended Britannia Royal Naval College for almost a year. He had been given a commission as a Sub-Lieutenant, though during his time at HMS Britannia he wasn’t called by his substantive rank, rather than “Officer Cadet”.
After this, he was selected for flight training, which had been exactly what he’d wanted. A lot of intensive training followed. After this he elected to go through the fast-jet pipeline. Thus followed 40 weeks of Basic Fast Jet Training, where he flew the Tucano.
Then came 26 weeks of Advanced Jet Training, flying the Hawk. The last big chunk of flight training was the Operational Harrier Training, which lasted for another 40 weeks. After this came 1 week of Initial Sea Safety, and lastly 2 weeks of Survive, Evade, Resist, Extract training.
And then Pat found himself assigned to HMS Ark Royal, where he flew the Harrier. Here he earned his callsign: Razor. Due to the fact that he was younger than the other pilots on account of having attended HMS Britannia straight out of secondary school, some of his colleagues questioned if he'd even have to shave himself. Over the years, he saw limited action over Afghanistan, but did earn himself the Afghanistan Medal, with the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery in the Air.
In 2007, Patrick and his Harrier got shot down over Afghanistan by a lucky small-arms shot as he was flying low and slow to the ground so as to give him an opportunity to strafe ground targets designated to him. After losing control he successfully ejected, and got to the ground safely. That would be the easy part, though. Armed with just a Browning Hi-Power, and two spare magazines for it, he had to make his way back to friendly troops. Additionally, he had a limited supply of water, and a grand total of two powerbars.
Over the course of a week, he managed to get in radio contact with Coalition troops from the Netherlands. Suffice to say, after that, he never once picked on the Dutch again.
In 2008 he was promoted to Lieutenant. It didn’t mean much. He got payed a little more, and at times was trusted with a little more responsibility. He did have to do a tonne more paperwork, though. In this year, he also participated in Exercise Joint Warrior 08-2.
Then in 2010, the Mighty Ark went out on her last journey at the same time the volcano in Iceland erupted. This caused a peculiar thing. All planes flying in UK airspace were grounded, and after Ark Royal moved around the ash, he was, for a while, the only pilot flying over the UK.
After returning home, his heart was broken. HMS Ark Royal was to be decommissioned. The air crew were reassigned to shore duties. Not long after, he was reassigned to Stargate Command. It was explained to him that he had an ancient gene, and that this would enable him to interact with Ancient technology.
Due to his exceptional flying skills, in addition to his service record to date, he was selected to fly the F-302 aboard the shared European BC-304. However, shortly after getting checked out on the F-302, his orders changed. A spot on a British exploration team had opened up, and his direct superior had demanded that Patrick be assigned it. He had one of the few distinctions as being one who had had proven himself to be able to survive in the sh!t.
He joined the team, and after almost a year he became the Acting 2IC, and he held this position until he was reassigned to join the Vedas Expedition in 2014.
In 2005, Patrick married his childhood girlfriend, and had a daughter with her the following year. The marriage didn’t last, however, and in 2010 they divorced.
Pat’s first brother, Richard, joined the British Army and is currently a Captain in command of the Air Troop of the Special Air Service’s ‘A’ Squadron. His only sister, Caroline, is married to Jacob Grafton and is employed as a Doctor. Pat’s other brother followed him into the Navy in 2013 and has recently graduated from HMS Britannia, holding a commission as a Midshipman.

Role Play Sample:
Patrick had just picked up his packet from home: A nice bottle of whiskey, several movies, a handful of books and a dozen cartons of Lucky Strikes. The box also contained some items his family had sent him: A drawing made by his daughter, some letters from his relatives, and most important of all: Yorkshire tea. This made him smile. Even though they had no idea where he was, they still knew to send tea. Just like a good percentage of Englishmen, Patrick drank his tea with milk and two sugars, and his favourite blend was the Yorkshire tea.
Having stuffed the contents of the box into a backpack -it’s easier to walk around with a pack than it is with a box in your hands-, Pat tossed the cardboard into the bin. Then, out of nowhere the alarms sounded.
He walked on to the armoury to arm himself with the British L85A2 -- The most modern version of the Enfield SA80, featuring a front grip and a picatinny rail. The Lieutenant stuffed his backpack into his locker, and then loaded a magazine into his rifle. Then he went off to man his station.
