OOC: Henry is in the computer core and has been for a while, not the med bay. Going to assume that people who are talking to him are doing it over the radio.< Tag Travis "Wizard" Oxford, Steve Hamrick, Stephanie Martin, Lavernius Tucker, William Huxley, Nick Harper,Lily Tuck, Victoria Palmazio, Akash Malhotra, Isabelle Cooper, Makes-Eternal-Everlasting, Kana Charter, Chiquita Charter & Aeto Ragnorok >
Things finally started to turn around when Major Hamrick shut down generator number three.
The lights within the vessel dimmed for a moment before emergency lighting kicked in. The vibrations beneath Henry’s feet ceased and the stars outside returned to normal. With a sudden lurch the USS Shiva dropped out of hyperspace. “Sirs, the engines have gone offline,” the archaeologist announced over his radio. Hopefully this was a sign of their luck turning around.
The power outage had temporally killed Doctor Pratt’s console, and when it came back online, he was no longer locked out of the system. “And we have control of the mainframe again,” he added. Pausing his analysis of the video footage he switched to a screen that was connected to the ship’s comprehensive suite of sensors. After a few moments of trial and error he found what he was looking for - a log of all transporter activity from the night prior. He scanned down through the list and found some startling results. He then switched to the long range scans and played back their telemetry from around the time everyone lost their memory.
“If I’m reading this correctly, a small Asuran vessel approached us just before 1:06am. The crew only spotted it at the last moment,” he explains over the radio. “A small team beamed onboard and activated a device the moment we lost video feeds. It must have been what knocked them out.”
Henry replayed the footage of the team, noting that they were were following orders of a leader - Narad no doubt.
Still in the sensor system, Henry initiated a life sign detector sweep of the ship. Alarmingly, it returned the result that there was an extra seven life signs onboard - the exact number who had beamed over. The Shiva’s computer cross referenced the life signs with the small Asgard transporter chips that all crew members had embedded under their skin, and determined that the seven foes were moving as a group toward the medical bay.
“Ahh, sirs, we have a problem,” Henry stammered, jumping from his chair and hurrying out the door toward the med bay. “Our visitors are still on board and they’re heading right toward you!”
