He picked up his coffee or what remained of it as Daniels's approached him, and gave a nod to her, before she moved towards the door, and frowned, but said nothing. It was a small world when it came to SGC and those who were attached to the program. He had to wonder if anyone one else from his family other than Matt and Trav were part of this craze. Hopefully not. Then moved his hand to gather the files that would be archived at the SGC.
Next was Cowden, regardless of how it got started, the man at least had a sense to do a proper goodbye, polishing of his lukewarm coffee, he listened as he sat the mug back, carefully. Shook the man's hand as the meaning behind his words became all too clear. Gripping the man's hand, Robert calmly took the collar of the member of the IOA and swung one fist towards that nose and face before Oxford jerked Cowden closer to the him, "You can say all you want about me," Bobby gritted his teeth had hissed, was not arrogant to the fact that he might have caused Elliot harm, if he had, Oxford would celebrate with a bottle, "but you keep my father out of this. Otherwise I'll make you wish that I had turned out like my old man."
Robert Oxford Sr was not by any means a coward. A simple man who had enjoyed serving his country as a member of the Military. Bobby knew that for himself being a black sheep of the family had its perks at times. But he would not tolerate his family being insulted right in front of him. If people thought he would brush it aside, they were in for a surprise.
Kim had moved when Loveridge had, deciding to wait for Oxford outside. Giving him time to pack, she was about to say something to Troy when action that was happening in the background caught her attention. Her green eyes widened in horror, while her mind wanted to be amused over someone finally taking a stand with IOA, "Troy....Uh..I mean General," she had a slip; rank or name."Captain." She pointed where Oxford was, yet didn't wait for orders she ambled fast, "Captain, let him go," she tried breaking the grip the Guards officer had on Cowden, with little success. "Sir release him." Oh why didn't she have her zat with her?
The death glare he was shooting wasn't going to help him, if Cowden pressed charges on assault.
