Billie had internally flinched at the second crackle of the whip, but refused to show it on her face. She had to remember that she was trained for this. Understood the in and outs enough to delay fear from eating her up. She was not a rookie. In a huff she had picked up her spade and marched off. Still trying to cool off she could only nod at Harris's words. She sliced the earth wit her spade and took few deep breaths to calm herself down.

Getting worked up was not going to be any helpful then being stuck here. Rubbing her face she fought for calmness. Yet the sounds and actions around her weren't helping. Witwer was well aware that help would be a while away. Once certain that her nerves were in check, she looked at Harries to see tipping her heard towards the exit, following her gaze, she nodded.

After making sure that the path was clear, the two made their way towards the stairs, "We need our weapons," she whispered before taking the stairs up, once on the other side of the door, she smirked as Telion joined them as he supported the still passed out Marine. The state her Commanding Officer was in actually worried her.

Whatever they had done to her, they would pay for it. Or she would die trying. How the heck was she to explain this to the Admiral? Or Captain Snarky? If the word had been right, he had been eying her. How much truth was in it in that was yet to be seen.

She had no idea where the weapons were. Finding them would be no easy task, but they had to try. The group made their way around the inner complex by following guards and worse they were unarmed. Finally coming across the some rooms, Billie spotted their weapons unguarded. Small spark of doubt ignited inside her, "Hey guys," she tipped her head, as she entered the room, after getting armed with her own, she took over holding/supporting MacKenzie while Telion geared up, once everyone was geared or in process of gearing as she saw, "We must find a way out and fast."

The newly arrived ship dropped out of hyperspace as it neared the planet. The ship's commander looked more or less worried. So far they hadn't detected a single ship hoovering the planet, "Shields up 100%," he ordered, "Kelper pilots are to be on standby in case we need them. Cloak the ship as well."

Looking at Steel, "We have the data on SV-2 to find them and beam then out. Let's use to out advantage. This work better not take longer than required."

Erickson was having a bad feeling about this.

As she and Billie moved away from the mine Kata kept glancing back to make sure they were not being followed, just in case. "We need our weapons," Harris just nodded in argeement, "These tools won't do anygood if we are caught."she replied. Though the guards had orders not to kill them, it did not mean they would treat them kindly, while she herself was tired from lack of sleep, Kana and Lequanna had other forces making them weaker. They met up with Telion who was carrying the still unconcious Lt. Colonel, it was good that she was still breathing but bad that she was knocked out cold. No matter what, she would make sure they all got off the planet...somehow.

Not soon after finding Telion they caught up with Kana, Lequanna and the stranger who Kata was still wary about, the older man had yet to hand them over to the guards so maybe he wasn't so bad? Still, Harris was sure to keep an eye on him as they kept moving away from the mines. The group kept moving blindly down the halls of the planet, it seemed like they had only gotten themselves lost when Billie noticed a room with thier weapons sitting out...unguarded. As the others armed themselves she stood in the doorway keeping watch on the hall, once majority of the group had an actual weapon in thier hands Kata went to the table and picked up what has been MacKenzie's gear and put it on, as she grasped the grip of the rifle in her hand she could not help but smile. "Let's see how Lord Shumba likes us now.." she said glancing around to everyone else. "We must find a way out and fast." Barbie said what Kata had been thinking.

Moving back to the door she checked the hall and saw that it was oddly empty, she looked back to the others. "Witwer you take the rear, Telion you stick in the middle with Kana and Lequanna and I am taking point. Any of you see anything that is not one of us you shoot first ask questions later." her eyes moved to each of thier faces as she spoke till she settled on the mysterious old man, "And you." she said firmly, "You cross us and I will shoot you myself. Okay?". She could be paraniod and overthinking his intentions but she did not have time to ponder that, they had to get off the planet or they would not get off at all. "Let's go people." she said quietly as she stepped back out into the hall, gun raised ready to shoot.

Overlords Chamber

The vessel Sumbha’s underlings had been tracking dropped out of hyperspace and moved into orbit above the planet. Scans were conducted to try and find its purpose, but the vessel’s shields resisted their attempts to learn it’s secrets. “Adjust the parameters and boast power,” the Asuran lord yelled. He stopped short of explaining why the scan needed to be completed. As a holy being, he was meant to have the power to see the future and be all knowing. The reveal that the arrival of this ship had caught him by surprise would not be a good look.

The technicians in the throne continued their unsuccessful scans of the ship. Meanwhile, the commander of his fighter squadron reported that he had taken up position on the dark side of a nearby moon and was within striking distance of the vessel. “My plan is unfolding as I have foreseen,” Sumbha replied, continuing to act as if he had predicted everything, thankful that his quick thinking had put at least some semblance of a response plan in place. Once he confirmed the identity of the ship he would swiftly destroy it.

In the confusion of the cruisers arrival he had lost track of SV-2, allowing them to enact their escape plan.

“Open a communication channel,” he barked, and sat up straight on his throne in preparation. When a broadcast channel to the unknown ship was opened he projected his carefully chosen words in a booming voice.

“You are disturbing the realm of the Great Lord Sumbha. I am a merciful god, and will allow you one chance to return to whence from you came. Failure to observe this opportunity with result in your total and utter destruction.”

The crew was already working away to locate SV2 on the planet. Erickson could hear the calmore and exchanges of words. If they found them here, there was no way Andrew was going back without his men he was looking for. And going back empty handed wasn't an option here. If it came to a fight, the ship was fully loaded with more then he would need.

"Sir," a tech at the console called out to him, "Incoming call."

A light frown draw on his face, but he nodded, as the screen was brought to life, one of his men nodded his way indicating that they had found SV2 on the planet. Looking back at the screen, he merely rose an eyebrow at the words, "I'm Lt Colonel Andrew Erickson, commanding officer of this ship named USS Shiva. I will return to my people once I have my men you have taken captaive. For your beneficial, I suggest you that you free my men."

Billie nodded as she covered her teams six as they moved out. She kept an eye on Kana and Lequanna in case. The two were already struggling with whatever was around here and the last she wanted was things going for two of them. With a sigh she indicated that the team pick up some pace. As she pulled out her zat and fired at few unsuspecting guards from raising alarm. As the team turned a corner, for another long walk, Billie felt the horror of it for a moment before she felt the sensation of the beaming that was used by the USS cruisers.

There was never a place like home, she smiled as they all got beamed out. She imaged that the Ships commander would want updates, details and everything in between. Then facing Admiral Oxford didn't seem appealing either. How the heck was she to explain MacKenzie's condition? The fact they had no JAG lawyer was a blow if they had to deal with the NID or the IOA.

Mines / USS Shiva

Where as Lt. Witwer had a super tazer, Kata had a gun with live rounds in it, though she had to refrain from using them because of the possibility the noise would draw alarm. They kept moving, slowly but surely they headed towards what they hoped was an exit, Billie was doing her best to push the slow moving group along. The group rounded yet another corner, Kata still on point she stopped walking as she saw a group of guards coming towards her, she quickly pulled the trigger of her gun and hit one in the chest. She was about to shoot at the others when the hallway before her vanished and she found herself in a different place entirely. Hearing voices she spun on her heel, gun still raised and came face to face with a security officer. 

The man reached out and gently pushed her raised gun down, "Easy." he said realizing she was still looking for enemies, Kata just nodded and lowered her gun looking back to the other memebers of her group and was relieved to see everyone made it, even if they were still unconcious, they all made it. They were safe and for the first time in weeks she was back on home turf. Kata turned and faced Erickson, "Colonel, permission to come aboard?" she asked with gracious smile.
