Hanger roof access
Plugged in to the access panel with the knowledge that his access showed up on the system meant, as far as he understood, his actions would be logged by the main system. Success against a local lockout could incress there chances of overrideing the main lockdown. Tapping the tablet he set it into a series of usual diagnostic programs. The back and forth with Bobby seemed like it would run and run, a good thing a bit of banter passed the time, the rair times, when not much was happening. He thought he picked up a hint of a backhanded compliment. "Well it's good of you to say sir, but I prefer the keeping my COs in one piece approach, for the most part, looks bad on my record if and when one of you gets hurt and/or killed and I'm kinda fond of my good record." He listened carefully as Dr Pratt walked him through the a few translations. The symbols and script in the wires themselves matched the information the diagnostic was returning. Bobbys input wasn't far of right as well all little helpfull points. "Looks like it could be linked to the locking controls to this hatch. The port Ive got a tablet pluged into was likely designed for an override add-in for friendly forces to gain access."
While thinking how best to get around the lockout the field that had covered the hatch glowed and then faded, accompanied by a flash of code on the tablet. Calmara placed his palm gingerly over where the handle was and tapped, nothing he grasped the handle and looked across at Stoneham, in then nodded down, indicatong him to cover the opening. Just as a transmission cut in from Fee, the contact inside was confirmed as friendly-ish. He put two and two together and surmised whoever it was opened up the hatch. "So no need to go in shooting then still a bit of caution would be an idea. Stoneham cover our entry." He yanked back the hatch opening. With thay task done he moved onto the other. "McCafferty from Calmara, we're in but it wasn't me I think our friend had something to do with it. Had a thought, Asimov was connected at the time would have logged what happened and how, as it registers on the control systems you might be able to pull the code, us that as a base to fight the lockdown. He looked back at his CO for a moment. " I'm just going to guess your going first. I'll take our six, besides need to make sure McCafferty's got all she needs before I unplug." His attention was caught by movement near the access to the main complex, he hid a little smile on sighting Des, "Looks like we got a little back up as well, how many SFs did you bring with you Major? They can stand keep an eye out up here, we got an unknown inside could be interesting."He asked quickly, sticking to proper address, just in case those present got the wrong idea.
